Arrived at Chaingmai and Care Corner Orphanage (CCO). What a great feeling to be back at CCO! In the midst of the children’s laughter there is a sense of peace and purpose.
Great to see Ps Ricky & family and the CCO children who have all grown by a bit. Also Anna had already been at CCO for 2 weeks and Yein & Desmond arrived yesterday.
We started the night with an reintroduction of the team with the children and play some fun games with them. It was a pity the children have to retire early as they have school the next day. Their devotions are at 5.30am every morning.
The team already done some great work. Anna has been teaching piano to the children. Yein and Desmond cleared and cleaned up the pathway we built in 2010. Desmond, our structural engineer is already deep in discussions with the build of the classroom
We are teaming with CRS Singapore again and the total team size is again 20 members. Setting for Mae La Camp Refugee camp on Wed 23/7, a 6 hours drive for us. Pray for us for a safe journey. Looking forward to update you all more.
