Our amazing photographer/videographer friend Pip Cree is heading back to Cambodia this summer to produce an awesome and interesting short film that will be shot in the capitol - Phnom Penh.
Pip has been apart of our media and photography team for Bread & Life International since our Cambodia missions team in May 2013 where she later then moved to live in the Phnom Pehn for over 12months working with NGO charities: Daughters of Cambodia and AGAPE International Mission.
The short film is about what the day in life for for an average mid-twenties female looks like. It's a pretty amazing narrative, because it's not about the Khmer Rouge, which is the story a lot of filmmakers tell. But it addresses the struggles and hopes of young people today, which is a story not being told about Cambodia right now.
“When Sothea witnesses corruption at work, she has to decide morally and financially how to proceed. Will she be complicit or risk her job and security? This slice of life story lead us into one thread in the tapestry of modern-day Phnom Penh.”
Please join with us in supporting the work that Pip and her co-producers are looking to create, edit and storytell through this exciting project!
